Help Mooseheart School win $500,000!!!
A Few Mouse Clicks Mean $500,000 to Mooseheart School ... or Not.

If, by just clicking a computer mouse a few times over five to ten minutes, you could send a HALF-MILLION DOLLARS to help Mooseheart's kids, you'd do it -- wouldn't you?

We sure hope so.

Thanks to Kohl's department stores, that's the opportunity we Moose members have!

Between now and Friday evening, September 3, by just "voting" for Mooseheart School as your "favorite school" on the "Kohl's Cares" page on Facebook, we Moose members can get that $500,000 from Kohl's Cares Foundation for Mooseheart School!

That's $500,000 we then WON'T need to ask from the men and women of the Moose to help operate Mooseheart's school this year!

If you have a Facebook account (easy to set up), if you're 13 or older, and you're a U.S. resident -- just go to http://apps.facebook.com/KohlsCares, follow the directions to vote the maximum allowed FIVE (5) times for Mooseheart School -- and that's all there is to it!

Please ask your spouse, your family and all your friends to do the same!

If Mooseheart School finishes among the top 20 schools in nationwide voting, we'll receive a Kohl's Cares check, payable to Mooseheart School, in the amount of $500,000!

It costs you $0 -- just a few minutes of your time! What an easy way to fulfill our membership obligation to "support Mooseheart with my energy and substance"!

PLEASE don't let this opportunity pass us by! Your Mooseheart students need you to vote, NOW!

Warm fraternal regards,
William B. Airey (Director General) and Scott Hart (Executive Director)

Greetings fellow Moose members.I figure it's time for an update for our web site. I hope all our great members of Lodge 1199 and Chapter 459 are doing great. It has been a hectic past few months and I'm hoping we can all sit back and enjoy our summer.
I hope everyone who has visited our Lodge these past few weeks have seen the great number of improvements that have been taken place, from the new paving of the parking lot with the additional handi-capped parking spaces, newly formed front entrance, as well as the beautiful enterance flower garden thanks to our fellow co-workers from Chapter 459.
These improvements and enhancements were made possible due to many volunteers from 1199 & 459, thank you to all who have given of themselves for making this possible. We are still making improvements as we go along, our next big project will be installing new cieling tiles in the rear hall as well as all bathrooms and offices. After that is complete we will be having all our carpeting steamed cleaned, as well as all wood and tile floors cleaned and sealed. I am asking again for volunteers to help make your Lodge a better place to belong.
I have been told that there is scuttlebutt going on around your Lodge to the ineffectiveness of how the Lodge is being run, and that they know of someone who will take over and correct all the problems with our profit and loss, which they seem to think is in need of overhauling. If this member or group of members would like to see a change of personell, please have that person come into the Lodge for an application, and if approved by the membership thay can start whenever is possible. I have and still do enjoy my time at the Lodge but if change is needed, I am all for it.
If anyone has any complaints or problems as well as compliments, you can e-mail me directly at thebigmoose@comcast.net

Fraternally yours,
Jim Magnuson
